At HomeSmile we will always strive for our service to be as fast, easy to understand, and reliable as possible. It is because of this that our delivery service can vary depending upon the product the customer is receiving.

White Goods & Television Range

Any items purchased from our White Goods & Television range that require any installation will always be delivered by the company that we source these products from – Hughes. The price you will have been quoted for your product includes this delivery charge. Within the delivery charge this will also include the following:

  • Delivery of the product
  • Installation
  • Removal of your old product (if applicable)
  • Removal of all packaging

We aim to be competitive by including all of the above into the price of the good you are ordering at the beginning. We will never add on any additional charges to this price. This means that the price you see on our website is the price you will pay. Always.

We aim to deliver all in stock items within the same week in which it has been ordered and approved (subject to delivery conditions outside of our hands). However, there are some circumstances where products may be a special order which can take longer (this is usually around 2 weeks from ordering to delivery). If this is the case, the customer will always be informed before we order any goods, and can be offered an alternative as close to what they ordered as possible with a quicker delivery date, as a second option.

Small Electrical Appliances

Items ordered which we class as Small Electrical Appliances, e.g. Laptops, Games Consoles, Vacuums etc will be delivered by our in-house delivery team. In this instance, it would most likely be by a 1-man delivery team. This enables us to deliver these items to customers as soon as they are available, which cuts down on waiting times. Our delivery team will ensure the following:

  • The items are delivered at the time most suitable for the customer
  • All electrical items (where applicable) will be tested by our delivery team, and if required, a demo on how to use and set up will be provided

Before our delivery team can leave, the customer will be required to fill in our delivery note to ensure that they are 100% satisfied with the delivery.

Sofa Range

All of our products ordered from our sofa range will be delivered by our in-house delivery team (you may be lucky and have our company owner Paul Langley!). This ensures that as soon as your sofa is ready, we can deliver it to our customers efficiently without the need to wait for the sofa company’s delivery timetable.

All customers can rest assured that the price they pay for any of our sofas includes this delivery service. Our team will always ensure the following:

  • The sofa(s) are delivered into the room of the customer’s choice
  • All packaging is removed and taken away from the customers property
  • All feet (and any other assembly required) are fitted in place
  • The sofa is arranged how the customer would like it

We will always ensure that the customer fills in our company delivery note to ensure in summary that they are happy with the delivery, and that no damage has been done to the product, or the household during delivery.

Bed Range

All of our products ordered from our bed range will be delivered by our in-house delivery team (you may be lucky and have our company owner Paul Langley!). This ensures that as soon as your bed is ready, we can deliver it to our customers efficiently without the need to wait for the bed company’s delivery timetable.

All customers can rest assured that the price they pay for any of our beds includes this delivery service. Our team will always ensure the following:

  • The bed is delivered into the room of the customer’s choice
  • All packaging is removed and taken away from the customers property
  • The bed will be fully assembled

We will always ensure that the customer fills in our company delivery note to ensure in summary that they are happy with the delivery, and that no damage has been done to the product, or the household during delivery.

Furniture Range

All products purchased from our furniture range will be delivered by our in-house delivery team. This allows us to get your products to you as quickly as possible and at a time most convenient to the customer.

The price you will have been quoted includes the delivery and set up of the product, and our team will ensure the following:

  • The furniture is delivered to the room of the customer’s choice
  • All packaging is removed from the customers property
  • The furniture is fully assembled by our team and ready for the customer to use

This means that all furniture provided by HomeSmile will not only be delivered but will also be assembled by our team on delivery. The customer will not have to spend time putting furniture together after it is delivered – it will be ready to use. This service is included in the price you see on the website. We do not charge an additional fee for this.

Before leaving, our delivery team will also ensure that the customer has filled out our company delivery note, which, in summary, confirms that they are happy with the delivery, and that no damage has been done to the product, or the household during delivery.

Bikes

All products ordered from our bike range will be delivered by our in-house delivery team. This allows us to get your products to you as quickly as possible at a time most suitable to the customer.

The price you will have been quoted includes this delivery and all bikes/scooters will have been pre-assembled and will have undergone a PDI (pre-delivery inspection) by the company who supplies the products.

We will also ensure that all packaging is removed from the customer’s property.

Included in the price quoted is a free service of your bike/scooter after 6 weeks. This will need to be arranged directly by the customer and the bike shop.

Before leaving, our delivery team will also ensure that the customer has filled out our company delivery note, which, in summary, confirms that they are happy with the delivery, and that no damage has been done to the product, or the household during delivery.

Blinds & Flooring

Our Blinds and Flooring service works a little different to the above delivery information. All Blinds and Flooring enquiries will firstly need to be quoted. During the quote, the companies that we use to provide our customers with Blinds and Flooring will visit the customers property at a time suitable to the customer. They will bring with them samples in the colours the customer has asked for, and will measure all rooms/windows required. We will have given a budget for the customer beforehand, so all samples taken to the customers property will already be within their price range. The customer can then choose from the samples available.

We aim for all quotes to be completed within the same week that the request was placed by the customer. If the quote is accepted by HomeSmile, and the customer is approved then fitting is usually provided within 2 weeks.
